    Amp Reccomendation

I have a Blackstar Studio HT20 (20W) tube amp. It's too massive for my needs and I need something smaller, with less wattage and higher gain settings. I'm open to all sorts of ideas, but I don't use pedals so I need straight up amp distortion. Any ideas? Looking to keep the price in the $300-$500 range used or new.

    Marshall JVM1 or SL-5.

I would look into the Yamaha THR10 if I were you. They sound pretty cool, have a ton of different tones, and have built-in effects so you wont need any pedals.

Or multiple personalities that are both indecisive about amps. We'll know for sure if OP's next twelve threads read "Amp choice hard".
