    Best 112 cab?

Tired as fuck of using shitty amp sims through speakers or my Peavey Vypyr in the apartment. Can't fire up the full stack for fear of weakling neighbors bitching. Not interested in load boxes, analog impulses, etc. etc. etc.

Avatar Contemporary 112 is the best I've owned/tried, regret getting rid of mine. Not interested in a Mesa. I love Mesa's 412s and 212s and have had both, will always hang on to my Recto 412, but the Recto 112s/Mini Rec cabs are overpriced and don't sound that good to me.

Any other suggestions superior to Avatar? Oranges are about the same price, but Avatar is the same build quality and I can't stand Oranges hipstery image. Ideally something I can spec out with a GT75 or K100 while ordering.

I would say Thiele, whether Mesa-built or elsewhere.

    Hard to beat Avatar though.

Dude, I tell anyone who will listen, The Egnater REBEL 1x12 is fucking boss. NOT the Tweaker though, make sure it is a Rebel. They have some custom celestion 80 in there that sounds fantastic. I have two and pretty much use them for everything.

Edit: I got mine at GC for like 210 bucks a peice. You can't beat it.

The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No.” ― Alan Moore

Clearly you need a ported Zilla.

Best 1x12? That's like asking the best way to get AIDS. Man up and blast the full rig. Smite anyone that complains.

I'd still recommend Mesa. My tech has an open back 112 with what I believe to be a black shadow speaker, and it fucking sounds so good. If you can find one used, get that. Otherwise I'd grab a Port City OS Wave 112, as my 212 is so fucking great.
