Gonna grab an amp soon, 5150, or 6505+?

The reason I ask is I haven't played a block letter in years, and the deal breaker at the moment:
    Resonance knob.
    Your thoughts?
Found a block letter for $550, so...

5150/6505 have no differences other than the tubes they shipped with and the 5150II/6505+ are also identical.

I have a 5150II and it works a treat. The 5150/6505 is a little more gained and a little rounder in the low end. I tend to leave the resonance knob at 12 I clock myself.

So for $550 you should get it because you can always resell it for what you bought it for.

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No. ― Alan Moore

It is a question of do you care about shared EQ and would you rather have clean/lead or clean/crunch/lead?

No 5153. I uhh... Already made the move for the block letter. I'll easily be able to break even on the 5150, if I end up not liking it. Then I'll grab the 6505+ or save for a RoadKing.
