Acquiring new gear... a couple questions

I'm taking a 30 min car ride this weekend to grab a 6 space rack case, Furman power conditioner and a BBE Sonic Maximizer for an insane low price. I've never had rack gear before and I'm wondering what would be the best way to go about wiring my new and old gear. I'm sure it's not complicated but, again, I've never had or tried to run a rack setup.

    My current rig is pretty straightforward, TAM10 > Line6 POD HD500 > Carvin TS100 > Mesa 4x12 w/ V30's:

    and I'm adding this:

Tips? Suggestions? Do I even need the BBE or should I sell it? Thanks.

I'm really only interested in the case to be honest... the guy is throwing in the Furman and BBE so I can't really complain. I dig my HD500 man, a lot of people shit on them but it works for me.

    Wirelessly posted (Wondernuts)

Sell the BBE to some nu metal throwback and keep the power conditioner. Then just run guitar>hd500>Carvin>Mesa cab. Pretty straight forward setup really.

Yeah I've not had a proper look around it but there is pound to be something in the hd500 that is similar to what the bbe does IF you decide it's something you need in your life. From what I've seen of them they sound ok on their own, but as soon as you are in a band mix you disappear.

Cam and Six are wise. Do what they say.

I agree with Cam. Sell the HD500 (keep your patches), the a HD Pro and footswitch. Then Have the Furman/HD Pro/TS100 in the rack, and maybe a rack wireless with the remaining 1U. Power them all from the Furman. Cabled the same way as you do now.
