Was trawling ebay last night and up popped an amp with a buy it now or best offer option. I've wanted one for quite some time and the listing was already at a low price so I threw him a slightly lower offer. To my surprise he accepted it. So I went and collected this just now.
20 years old and the slip cover's still like new.
The amp's in just as good shape. Not even a scuff on the tole and all the leather corners are in excellent condition. 2 channel Rev G Dual Rectifier, one of the 3 amps on my bucket list.
Only thing wrong with it is one of the recto tubes is dead but since I rarely if ever switch over from the diodes to tubes it doesn't bother me. This particular one was a 110v model that was converted to 240v with an original Mesa transformer which is like $300 there.
Even that old single button footswitch is present and all in working condition. Not that it'll get too much use as it's going onto the shelf for reamping and tracking work and will be hired out to people who want one for album recording on site. Now to go play around with it and maybe throw a demo together.
