I've always loved these things - I think Fender was the first company to get the "modern" low wattage tube amp thing right. Lush clean channel, enough gain to get some gritty and sustain but that's not really where the focus is, about enough power to break up at club levels, and most importantly a 12" speaker (a Jensen, here) so your guitar doesn't sound thin or anemic. If I wanted to gig in a pretty traditional blues trio, this is absolutely the first amp I'd look at. Plus, it looks cool as hell, too.
This isn't a "NAD" thread because this isn't a keeper - I grabbed this for my dad as a retirement present. He plays and records folk and blues based music, and this is a huge upgrade over his old solid state Fender Champion 30.
Sounds pretty good. I'm a sucker for Fender cleans. Ironically I don't care for the Jensen in my Koch, though, and have been contemplating swapping it out.
