Well I picked the Eden WT550. There was a rep there who helped demo it for me. Definitely more of a classic sound than a modern sound. Lots of options to play with as far as EQ goes.
This weekend I am taking it over to a friends place who is a long time bass player so we can put it through its paces.
Plan on bringing over some pedals as well as my bass to try different combinations on his 15 inch speaker.
But at 579 plus tax for a brand new amp I was quite pleased.
Will be a while before I can report on the DI as I am currently not set up for that (i.e. computer is in pieces).
Now I don't have stock in this store and on a normal day it is regular prices but good selection.
During the sale the worst deal you could expect was -$25 and an additional 10% the best would be -$300 and 50% but as you would expect those discount cards are more rare.
None of that applied to door crasher prices. But seeing as I got 500 off I wasn't complaining.
I did also get the minimum deal on a TC electronics tuner pedal.
But it's also worth checking out because there were tons of reps demoing products, live bands and draws..... I entered a draw for a Sterling JP100D and a Ibanez Jem Jr. They were doing draws for 16 different items such as monitors, mics, electronic drum kits, DJ controllers, guitars.
Line ups were long and you need to get there before it opens for a good spot in line but worth it.
All in all a nice way to spend the day.
It's 2015. There are no pics in this thread.
