Pretty cool features that are actual useful and not just added onto a basic pedal to move a few units, namely for guys who use more than one guitar/amp in their rig.
Not sure what the gain boost is, but the "low boost" is just switching out the filter cap on the input to a value that lets more lows through. You can add that to any 808 for less than $5 in parts.
Not gonna lie if I still had a recto or peavey I'd be interested. For the sound they go for these sound really cool. Incredibly thick saturated crunch. They have some of my favorite metal rhythm tone to date.

I thought that, but these are new - they haven't used them on any albums yet. They might actually sound poo compared to their standard 808s
i have to admit I'm a bit of a fanboy, and if I hadn't just picked up an actual 808 last week id be tempted too.
