Nabbed one of the new size Pedaltrain boards, the Nano+.
I've been using a massive fuck off Pedaltrain 3 for the longest time, literally with 3 pedals on there. Tuner, gate and boost. My footswitch is fucking gargantuan, but is also built like a tank, so I'm using that separately now and running it through XLR rather than MIDI, as it gets power through XLR too.
The reasoning behind splitting the board up was that if I have one small board with pedals on, I can take that anywhere, and use it with any amp, without having to drag a massive Diezel controller around with me too. Going to a jam with provided amps? Take this. Going to see Stu The Massive Cunt? Take just this.
The big gap is for a reverb and delay pedal I'm yet to decide on. Also thinking of swapping the tuner for a Polytune Mini 2.
I have one of these that I wanted to use for my 3 pedals and wireless. It's lightweight and awesome and I bring it all over the world.
But lately I've been downsizing even more so right now I only bring my wireless, a noise gate, and a boost. In a bag. Hobo-style. Delays and shit can be added by front of house. They need to work more...
