Well since I saw Kyng in concert I have been fiending for a 2 channel Rev G dual, his tone was so good that it reminded me how good those old 2 channel Rev G's sound.
Well it seems everyone from GC to Ebay has been inflating the prices on these lately and posting for $1099+ and they are not selling at $1099, occasionally you can bid up on one and they sell for around $800ish.
So this local guy on Craigslist has been selling a 2 channel triple Rev G for the past 8+ months at $800 and it has not moved, missing back bar and no foot switch but freshly retubed with JJ's in preamp and power amp. So I reached out to the guy and offered him $700 and he took it. As a bonus he threw in the old tubes that are Mesa STR 454's and look brand new, no dust or anything, nice clear glass so I am going to test them out. For those that dont know Mesa tubes, the STR 454's are Winged C's and sound great.
Anyway I now own the following Mesa's so I think I got Leon beat.
Road King 1
Stiletto Duece II
2 channel Triple Rev G
Mark V Mini
Mark III Red stripe fully loaded in rackmount kit
2 channel Dual rackmount Rev F (co-owned with Noodles)
Roadster Head (going up for sale)
I took two quick pictures tonight for you guys, have not opened it up yet.
