I was looking for something I could use for getting big ambient sounds that would differ somewhat from my "space" setting on my Flashback X4. After trying the EarthQuaker Devices Dispatch Master, Caverns and the Catalinbread Belle Epoch, I chose the Caverns. I really like how much control I have over the reverb side of things. The 3 modes are very useful, and the morph knob controls one parameter for each setting. The delay is a nice warm analog style delay. Running both effects at once provides a nice lush tone that works great on a clean channel. Keeley also includes regular size knobs, but since I have a tendency to knock things I have left them in the box. at $199USD you're getting a lot of pedal for the money, IMO. I tested all the pedals with a PRS Custom 22 and Hiwatt 112 combo. I've included an updated pic of my board as well.

Sweet! The dispatch master is definitely not the right choice for big ambient sounds. I mainly use it as a "typical", subtle delay with a hint of 'verb, and then I toss on the afterneath for the bigger ambient stuff.

Tour out this way so I can check out your rig, dude!

I think if you talk to one of your bandmates in Dayseeker it may happen

I liked the EQD, it's just that I can get basically the exact same thing with pedals I already own. I really like the Space setting and wanted something along those lines. We probably have 8-10 or so shows left for this year, and then it's writing time. I'm looking forward to seeing just how weird we can get everything to sound haha.

Side note: letting a fan blow onto unmuted strings with reverb and delay on sounds really cool for background noise.
