I've just picked this up from Cobra Commander. This much abused piece of shit started off as one of the earliest Ahsdown Fallen Angel 60 combos, if you've been around here long enough you might remember the hideous mongrel 2x12 cab I made out of the carcass when Adam converted it to a head (and mounted it upside down in regards to it's original orientation).
So, why have I got this? Simple, I'm getting into modifying amps and want to play about with something inexpensive to practice. I've found a huge slew of information about component changes to make with the ultimate intention being to try and make this crapfest sound good. If you've ever played a Fallen Angel you'll know what a challenge that is
The DSP version below it belongs to a mutual friend of mine and Adam's, I've just resurrected it from the dead and made a couple of small tweaks to it. They've improved things, but there's more to go. With mine I'm considering installing switches to switch between stock and modified circuits, in hopes of making a before/after comparison in the future.
Sweet. Should be fun seeing what madness you can do to it to make it sound half decent.
I've got a dude who wants to trade some gear and there's a Jet City JCA20H in there that I want to start modding like mad.
