I probably could have purchased a pedalboard for less than the cost of the one I put together today, but I enjoyed putting the last one together and wanted to do it again. Besides, I wanted yellow.
So, an afternoon in the garage, some lumber, a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2, and a bit of paint and here she is. I'm no carpenter, but I'm getting better at it, I think.
I decided against using feet on it this time. Instead, I opted for some rubberized pads normally used for grip on metal bars and such. Easy to replace and it still keeps the thing from scooting on my concrete floors.
One of these days I'll get the proper tools to do this sort of job right - like a radial-arm saw and a table saw. For this project I used a circular saw, a sander, and a drill. When I get a hole saw for my drill that's not broken (mine is,) I'm going to cut a path in the head of this board for the power cord.
While I'm on, I'd like to wish those of you who celebrate it a Happy Easter.
