So for about the last year or so I've been using a NUX PMS2 midi relay switcher which i thought was great - small footprint, affordable and 6 relays in total, and turns my mark IV into a midi compatible amp - but i've come to realise after slowly going through everything on my fx board its introducing a lot of (ground?) hum into my signal chain, and I'm looking for any suggestions/experience/input you guys have with other similar devices.
it needs to have..
at least 4 relays - 6 ideally
have a small footprint
its going to be powered by a pedaltrain volto style battery so needs to have a reasonable current draw
ive tried the engl z11 which cures the noise problem, in exactly the same set up, but it takes up over half of my board, so i was thinking either RJM mini amp gizmo (which is expensive as fuck in the UK) or a voodoo labs control switcher which is a little bit smaller than the engl but not much - are there any other good ones out there i should check out?
I'm fully aware how picky I am in the above, so can see this descending into a Rocka style thread
also, Shawn, sorry for recommending you one recently - i totally take back my recommendation now
