    NAD Peavy 6505 MH w/1 x 12 cab

Actually rec'd it last Thursday but my wife's been
in the hospital so my time spent with It has been somewhat
limited . Now that's she home I've haven't really had it out
of 1W mode. That being said I am very happy with it. The tonal
varieties span a range from classic rock to aggressive metal. Still
experimenting with channels, settings and OD pedals I have on my
    pedal board.
I bought the matching 1 x 12 cab w/Greenback which seems to be a good fit.
Going forward I really want to get another 1x12 to make a
half stack and get the amp head at a level I can see/reach easier. Really for a stay at home player who
uses it for recording and practicing it seems perfect.
So one of the reasons I waited this long to order this amp is the problems with
overheating some people were reporting. Maybe I'm not driving it very hard and maybe I
don't play more than an hour at time so far but I've experienced no overheating issues.
In fact it doesn't seem to get any hotter than any other small amp head I've owned.
I'll reserve final judgment on this until my wife is feeling better and I can turn it up
and make the floor boards vibrate under her feet

Congrats, man. It's a sweet amp for sure. The overheating issue is not a big deal.

Grats, man! I never took it out of 1W either, never had the overheat problem, but also never played it for more than two hours straight.
All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

Congrats. I hope you enjoy it. I got one myself. I bought a "demo" unit from sweetwater for $450. I ended up having to send it back because of a strange switching issue but they took care of me and sent me a brand new one at no extra charge.

I really enjoy it though. It rarely leaves the 1watt mode and is the perfect amp for dicking around at 2am while people are asleep. Not to mention, the built in reverb in this thing is surprisingly really good IMO.
