    NAD - EVH5150III 50w

Good amp. Does anybody even use the Gain on red channel above 2 or 3? (9 o clock) because it's already distorted like hell at 3, and at 4 it begins to flubb out completely. I think it's a little higher in the video, but I will keep it at 2-3-4 most of the time I think.
Anyway, that's not an issue. The amp sounds really really good

Will try it out with Boss GT-100 for channel switching later some day

Nice amps. I mainly used the blue channel for rhythm as the red got way to saturated. This is a clip of mine with the gain on 1 on the dial. The noise gate is in the signal chain, the Pod was used for FX but none were running on this. There's no boost, just me playing an RG7421 in Drop A with an EMG 707, though the pickup was probably closer than it should have been to the strings.

I'm so metal I shit bats

Now this is a thread, sounds great. I use blue channel most of the time and you found what I found with the red channel. With med/high to high output pickups the max I use on Red channel is 3 but I found when I went to the Pegasus pickup I could dial it up a bit more since its lower output than the Duncan Distortion.

Great amp. Clean channel is much better than 6505+ but still find that i spend most of my time on the blue channel. Red channel is nuts and typically keep the gain low.

I need to get my roadster out to compare the 515x vs dual rec family.

Price of 50w used is an excellent deal.

Well, the red channel isn't for tight rhythm playing, it's for EVH-style leads!
