    My biggest pedalboard ever

It took me about three hours tonight of moving things around, re-velcro-ifying, some excel-based power management planning, and a bag of new patch cables with some power splitters that just came in yesterday from Sweetwater.

    Powered: TrueTone CS12

    Preamp Loop: Polytune > Sentry (noise gate) > C9 > Phase90 > SoulFood > JoBo OD808 > FatBoost > FullDrive2 > Dial-a-Distortion > Wah > Volume

    FX Loop: 10Band > H2O (echo + chorus) > Afterneath > DispatchMaster

You can imagine my elation when it didn't hiss all over the place

Well, because I can't get one that fits ALL the footswitches; RK, Stiletto, DC-10, Nomad, and Splawn

Nice Leon, pedals are the new racks

I totally get the whole experimentation and what to put where, it's like Legos for adults, total fun! ALso is that 5 ODs plus a fuzzbox (the classic distortion)? The MXR EQ is awesome but it takes up a lot of room, have you ever seen this thing?

Wow. I don't think I could ever do that again. When I was playing in bands in college, my biggest setup was... I think 6 or 7 pedals. And it really was way too much. For me, I think it needs to be either just an amp, an overdrive pedal, a channel switcher, maybe delay, and a wah-wah pedal or-- WHAT AM I SAYING?! I was trying to think of the bare minimum and I already went way overboard. No, I think I really need something like the Axe-FX or the POD HD. Whether it's for everything or just for the effects -- with only a wah-wah pedal added.

I dunno. I just don't like all the tap-dancing. Have to do some of that with any kind of effects, but with that much, it's just excessive. Plus, I really can't go down the "Just me and an amp" route because when I'm playing clean I need reverb, chorus, and so on, and when playing distorted, I need delay, overdrive, a noise gate, wah-wah, and so on.

That said, you got some nice pedals there.

Vince, I hadn't seen that programmable EQ! Pretty cool, but I need ON/OFF functions, otherwise I get compulsive and keep looking to make sure I'm on the right setting. That's what happens when I'm at acoustic shows using my HD500, even though I only use 4 patches

Eric, sometimes at band practice I'll just grab my guitar and my GC $39 Korg tuner . It's interesting to be without ANYthing but the amp's channel changer. It really makes you use your hands more to get some of those different sounds.

Jeff, the only Boss pedal that I *might* be missing is a Blues Driver
