I picked up a rack case for my II pro. These heads run how as fuck out of a case. The top panel above the tubes would hit easily get up to 200°F you could probably cook an egg on it on a hot day. With the fans on it really barely feels warm to the touch now, even after two hours of torture.
Anyway I came up with a simple solution using old PC parts I had laying around.
plastic nuts and bolts
two 80mm fans
a 12v netgear hub power supply
a rocker switch
I installed the fans on the back grill in a push pull configuration after soldering them up to the switch and power supply and testing to make sure they worked. I mounted the cable anchor on the side of the rack case, so it holds the switch in place. Eventually I will drill a hole near the back and mount it, but I didn't feel like messing with that right now, since I'll have to resolder.
