    Amazing new rig day

And by amazing, I mean I'm amazed it doesn't sound like shit

So I've had a couple of the Marshall MS-2 mini stacks kicking about for a while, and though I knew they could drive a cab I've never tried it, so I decided to give it a go.

Well, it's night and day compared to the built in speaker. Anyone who's ever tried one of these knows they suck with their tiny built in speaker, but through my V30 loaded Zilla it actually sounds pretty damn good. It was actually scary how similar it was to my real rig, just very, very quite. But, it makes for a reasonable home practice solution I'll actually be modding it for a speaker out now, rather than using the headphone jack with the jack half plugged in (you short the power amp if you plug it all the way in).

Just for the hilarity, a quick picture
I'm so metal I shit bats

No kidding. That's funny... great, but funny, man.
All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

    That's a solid home rig .

I have an MG15 with the 8" speaker - it doesn't sound great, but I don't need great I just need useable. It covers that base quite well - and I think it cost me $30 off an old roommate.

I don't think it has a speaker out, or I'd try the same thing

There is also an ms2j based on the silver jubilee now, since Marshall have finally realised that people have been begging for jubilees for years - so they release a jubilee of everything
