Bros! I need a new wireless system.

I haven't posted in forever, so hello again! I hope everybody has been doing awesome shit, as usual. I'm a total cock for not checking in every once in a while, I know. That said, disappearing and showing back up for gear advice is part of my schtick so here we go.

I need a new wireless. Mine was good/is old/shit out. I don't have much of a budget in mind yet, so throw everything at me, even if it's pricey. (Do we still make Crooks jokes about stuff like that?)

I haven't looked at these in about eight years and I'm way out of the loop, so thanks for your help!

Line6 Relay G series seems to be the go-to thing nowadays. Last time I researched for myself, the majority said that the G30 was a compromise but G50 + G70 are top notch.

And how have you been you little cunt
The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No.” ― Alan Moore

I've heard a lot of good things about those. Do you own one, or have you used one for an extended period of time? I'm curious about the durability and any common problems users might have.

The one that shit out was a Shure and it ruled for a long time. I don't like the proprietary cable from the transmitter, though. When I had problems with the cable in the past, I'd have to special order from Shure or Mogami, which sucked. A cable type that's a bit more common would be ideal.

I've been doing very well, dude! I was insanely busy for about a year and a half, but I have quite a bit of free time now and I'm enjoying every relaxing second of it. I hope you've been doing well, too!

No, I decided against it and stuck with cables in the end. I tried the G50 in a shop and it sounded good, I couldnt hear a difference between a standard cable and the G50 - I would have been curious to try it with "my" rig, but in the end I didn't want to put that much cash into a wireless system.

Good to see you back bro!

The line 6 stuff is really good. The G30 transmitter is its weak point - it's cheap plastic and breaks. The g50 and g70 is metal and sturdier. A g50/70 transmitter will work with a g30 reciever if you are on a budget and dont want to compromise too much.

Also it takes a standard 1/4 jack lead into the transmitter

I have the pedal one that Flex posted, and it's awesome. The Line6 works great until it doesn't. Ask Noodles about his experience with them.
