To Be honest I never tried it with pedals it was pretty good in 4cm with my mark iv and I actually preferred the onboard ODs over my od808 - not that the 808 is bad mind you - it just tends to get very thin and nasally with a mark amp and the on-board boosts gave me the saturation I needed without getting like a cocked wah - the 808 sim did get thin and nasally just like the real thing though and was pretty close in tone fwiw.

I suppose I would just install the GSP1101 at my desk, and just use everything in it, rather than my board, if I were to get one

Question about effects on the GSP1101!!!!

Does the delay ring out when switching channels, or does it just stop?

Because on my Kemper I have a specific patch that I use one a couple of songs where the guitar is supposed to delay for like 20 seconds while I change to the clean channel, so the sound doesn't just stop abruptly.

That's why I have to get rid of the Boss GT-100 because effects simply stop once I change channell...

Usually there is a way to turn that on/off in the settings of most FX processors? Have you checked the manual/web?

Yep. Like Flex said, it's an option to have the effects "spill over" when you change patches or have it cut abruptly. I think you can even set it patch to patch (although it may be a global setting). I can check in the morning for specifics but it's definitely there.

Are you sure the gt100 doesn't have that option? I've never used one but that option was on my gt10 floorboard so I'd be surprised if it wasn't on the gt100.
    Spoiler

Well it wasn't really the only reason, I meant "thats one of the reasons why I sell it"

Also, I really dont need the wah pedal, and its too big.
I will prefer the more slick Tech 21 midi-switcher, with only 5 buttons and no crazy displays and stuff.

Anyway, I hope Digitech has that feature...

there are a lot of features and bug fixes that were added after digitech dropped support of the unit by some rogue employees, so its quite difficult to get an exact breakdown of what it can and cant do.
