Pretty much, yeah. It's basically a Boss GT-1 with three loops for external pedals, and made a lot sturdier (the GT-1 is plastic).
Disclaimer: I work ultra part-time for a local music gear dealer. And as a male plus-sized model for mankinis.

I would want use one of the loops as a 4-cable with an amp, so I'll be watching this thing when it's actually out there being used.

So you cant run any FX between the loops so 4CM is out for me. I would need L1 and L2 to be a couple drives and then use the distortions in the MS-3 before L3. I saw on the gear page that there is an MS-5 hinted at already so im hoping that has an extra set of converters for 4CM.

So it's a multi-fx, with 3 switchable loops after the effects? If so, it would seem targeted at the 'clean platform' guys, not us.

Yeah Clean platform guys for sure. But you can move any of the digital effects before or after the 3 loops

I'll just get an ES-8 or ES-5 and use my own effects. Much more flexibility in routing.
