So since going over to the Triaxis from the Chameleon, the only thing I'm really missing is wah. The wah in the Rocktron unit was outstanding and was one of the best wah's I've ever used. I'll still use it in the studio.
I run wireless, and I don't want to have a wah pedal out in front of the amp, and my floorboard already has a great expression pedal on it. The only rackwah I can find online is the Dunlop rack wah, and it's freaking $600! I could get an amp switcher and run the Triaxis and Chameleon together for less than that! Heck, I could get a Lexicon MPX G2 for $400 on Ebay and run it in front of the Triaxis.
Is there any lower cost solution? I've found a few guys online that have schematics for building a rack wah unit, but I'm not an electrical engineer. I can't seem to find any one-unit solutions for a decent price anywhere.
What about setting up the Chameleon purely as a rack wah? Regor's band's other guitarist did that. Plus, you've already got the Chameleon, so it'll be free.
