Default N(T?)GD Walnut Carvin Holdsworth H2

This thing is awesome... all walnut and stainless steel frets The only thing I don't like about it is that there's a light line around where the set neck meets the body, looks like glue overflow or the sanded the stain off or something before applying the flat finish.

I played it for a while this afternoon... and my decision is going to be a tough one. I need to decide if I keep this or if I return it and get myself an Axe-Fx Ultra. I did the math, and selling the gear I wouldn't need with the Axe-Fx comes out to just about the same amount on my charge card. Time to make a tough decision

Without further delay PICS

Sick, dude. Is that the regular or "fatboy" model?

Every single one of those that I have played has sounded great and played fantastic. I just happen to think they are ugly as sin.

Correct, it's the H2 not the HF2 Fatboy.

I saw one once in a second-hand guitar store and was shocked at how HUGE the neck is.

I believe you have the hands of a five year old girl sir

Seriously the neck on this isn't any thicker than the Fender Telecaster I have I mean it's not an Ibanez Wizard but it's not as thick as say a Schecter Hellraiser or even the PRS SE EG I have.

I guess i was just surprised that it wasn't a super-thin shredder neck. Maybe it wasn't huge, but it wasn't what i expected, or the profile wasn't right for my hand. I found the same thing with the 727 i tried briefly... not at all what i expected, and not the right profile for me. Maybe a little too much meat around the shoulders. Strangely, though, i have a Carvin Bolt neck and it's perfect.

Yeah I mean it's not like an ibanez wizard or anything, but it's not a baseball bat either

Nice! I love the idea of a 24 fret hollowbody.

Btw, what's the "T" in your thread title stand for?
