Default Jackson RX10D Rhoads vs. Jackson RR3

ok, so I am thinking about getting a Rhoads in the future and ran across these two here:

http://http://www.guitarcenter.com/J...25-i1446077.gc

and

Jackson RR3 Rhoads Electric Guitar and more Solid Body Electric Guitars at GuitarCenter.com.

and reading the specs of both they seem to be made the same kind of.

Besides the more noticable things like the pickups and the RR3 coming with a molded case it says. is there really anything different? like the quality maybe?

Should I just go for the RR3?

I'd go for the RR3 just for the jack location(on the upper wing). Real Duncans too.

And out of those two in the OP, I'd go for the RR3.

For me, the only benefit from having no neck pickup is aesthetics - COWs etc simply look better

I love how this went from what it is to being about having a neck pick up or not to have one. I was thinking that I may go with the rr24 if it is only a few hunderd more then the rr3 is now. I swear that it was only $699 a few months ago though the rr3

All of Jackson's prices shot up for 2009. You can find the 08 and older models for dirt cheap though (GC is selling 2008 DK2Ms for $399 new)
