Ibanez fans don't frequent over on that forum anymore, I thought I'd share over here too.
2001 RG8527 DBK. She's in mint condition factory installed EMGS (what fucking genious that that one up).
But surprisingly thru my Mark III the EMG'S actually sound pretty good.
I may swap them out for BKs or Blackouts,
but I'm still undecided on whether or not I'm going to keep it.
As Drew had mentioned to me in a pm the other day "Totally nails the Nevermore tone" and indeed it does.
The neck has a bit rounder shoulders than my 7620 but actually is a bit
slimmer as well. She is really easy to play, feels a lot like the neck on the
1527 Drew sold to Chris a while back. This one has a volute at the back
though which really feels nice while chording or riffing down low on the neck.
It also has the different "J-custom" heel joint that looks really nice too.
Get some Drop Bears for her immediately.
That's a sweet looking guitar.
