So I've been bothering these two guys for who knows how long regarding tone, settings, tweaks etc for SD style pickups. As you know I've got a Jazz neck and a BKP Holy Diver (JB7 variant) but being new to these types of pickups ie: very testy and sensitive pups - I couldnt get the right tone/sweet spot for them.
Anyways yesterday after talking to Dave, the idea came up to switch the jazz pup around and see how it works. Well guess what - it sounds so very very smooth and fluid exactly how Dave had described it to me before. This pup is so nice now - I think this has to be the best sound neck passive pup out there that I've tried.
Here is a clip of the Jazz - all tweaks/setup suggested by Dave+Mike. Not the best clip as I'm very rusty due to school.
I'm so happy - now if only I can get this bridge pup situation sorted out...
I didn't notice the title but just as I was about to say "Yeah, it's got a really Satch-esque feel to it" you started into the main melody of "Cryin'"........and then I noticed the clip title
