Default There are many things I love about my strat...

...not the least of which the fact that after almost 11 years it's just a very comfortable guitar for me, that it sounds great, that it's starting to look a little "worn in," that it's got a ton of sentimental value for me, or even just that Chris covets it which makes for lots of good jokes.

However, the reason I've been playing the shit out of it lately? Simply because with its thicker (but not unpleasantly so) neck and its gloss vintage tint finish on the neck and fretboard, the thing is damned near immperveous to the elements. My Universe's action is about double how I last set it up, right now, probably pushing 4mm+ due to the huge change in humidity coming from this storm front. My Strat? Exactly where I last dialed it in.
