Some of you have wanted this, so now is your chance to do something about it.
I called customer service & they transferred me to one of the head CNC programmers named Albert. I asked if there was a possibility of getting a 7-inline headstock (standard & reversed). He said not at this time. I then told him that I'm part of mg.org & ss.org & several people have been screaming for it as an option. He said this is the first he's heard of it & said he recommends that we bombard them with the request through Carvin's discussion. Turns out, they read it frequently & the smount of requests on there heavily determines what gets put into productions.
So, here's what I'm asking all of you to do....
1) Sign up on the Carvin Forum & politely & intelligently state that you want to see a 7-string inline headstock options (both standard & reverse) for the DC727 & DC747. They listened when we asked for non-rounded body sides & normal sized pickup routes, so we have a legitimate shot!
2) Call customer service @ 800-854-2235. Ask them to let it be known that you want this option (I spoke to Brendon). Or better yet, ask for Albert...ie, the man who needs to hear this! If you want to talk to Albert, he's there until 2pm PST.
LET'S DO THIS, PEOPLE!
so you want carvin to waste time and money on a design that 99% of the people petitioning for it wont even buy the guitar? I'm with you that it would be a cool option, but i dont think it will stay an option if no one gets it.
