I've wanted a Strat for a long time, so I finally decided to get one. I went to a guitar store to see what they had, and picked this one up because it was the only one with a maple board.
It felt and sounded great, so I plugged it into a Vox AC30 and spent about 3 hours comparing it to a Nevalainen custom Strat (really nice Finnish guitars) and an MIA Fender. The Indie was really close in quality to the Nevalainen for one third the price, and was actually nicer than the Fender. I was really surprised as I've never heard of Indie guitars.
It was made in Korea, and probably set up in England, quite well actually, I didn't have to touch a thing. It has Indie brand pickups, which sound pretty damn good.
I also got the final piece of my rig today, an FBT Verve 12MA monitor:
Sounds incredible with the Axe-Fx.
And here's a family shot:
I wouldn't be surprised if they're made in the same factory as the Rondo SX strats. The headstock is almost identical.
