    custom guitars

hey i'm a newcomer to metal guitarist and i figured i'd make my first post about frankinstein guitar works. they're a company out of ontario canada who strictly makes one off hand built custom guitars. they're not strictly metal guitars or anything, and there's never been a seven string, but a good guitar's a good guitar right.
either way i had a guitar made by them (and by them i pretty much mean seppo valjakka, the guywho owns the company and builds the guitars) and the thing's pretty sweet. it's WAY nicer than any factory guitar i've ever played and he's done some nice work in the years since i've gotten mine too.
the site's Welcome to Frankinstein and believe me when i say he's good at what he does.

Your first post being a spam isn't a good way to start in any community.

Fake "I just thought I'd share" posts are really weak. I'll leave it at that.

We have several luthiers here, and we welcome them, but every single one of them presented themselves this way when they signed up. Now, would you like to start over, or are you sticking with your weak story?

Yeah, I wasn't really impressed by anything I saw on there. While the walnut-inlayed bullseye guitar at least speaks to a level of skill in joinery, design and shape seemed a little uninspired and 'homemade' to me, unlike the sharp, clean edges of a Sherman build or Brian's newest Bowes, or the organic 'designed' smoothness of an Oni.
