She was a gift from my dear ol' Uncle Lee and she is greater than any guitar I've owned. It's like throwing a Ferrari (or if you're Kevan, an SRT) into a garage full of Pinto's. Shits all over the competition - and with good reason too.
This was actually arranged on my birthday (the 18th) which made the night that much more unbelievable. Currently awaiting specs but I was told at least maple cap, maple neck with ebony fretboard, and I can only assume since it's a Gibson that the body is mahogany - although rather light which I'm NOT complaining about at all.
Only plans for this gal are to put in one of the new, hotter, Seymour Duncan JB's and a '59 in the neck for the ultimate classic tone set and switch the skull knobs to black metal or the original speed knobs.
On with the pics!
I resign from the "Lee H8" club and join the "Lee " club
