no tape on the neck, if you mean 17th-24th fret, then those are scallops, increasing gradually, so they exponentially fade in.

I think you'll find one of the pictures shows it's true colour, it's red , bit hard to capture in the light, without flash, slightly orange, with flash, like a fucking fire engine!

ah, is not tape, the sustainer had been p[ainted white when i got it, i accidentally stained it while doing the body, so painted it red. It's going to get properly painted by someone with some symbol or graphic in matte soon

So, no tape!

Also, if anyone has an idea of how to direct mount pickups in routes with tab routes, let me know, as the standard length screws aren't long enough, and it's the neck thing (bar painting the cavities with shielding paint) that i need to do

What Shannon and I did on his spalted body and what I later did on my Muttiverse is find a wooden dowl roughly the same size as the tab holes, cut it to size and super glue them in. That should make it so you can use the normal mounting screws.

is a good solution, however, me + woodwork is a nono... still, is a solution, thing is, i want to put springs under the tabs to make them height adjustable without using crappy foam
