So, I was re-stringing one of my guitars the other day, when I looked over at my Roadstar. It hit me that I've NEVER restrung it. I bought it maybe four years ago, and the strings are still very corrosion free. Besides having never corroded, they sound great on that guitar, and I'd like to try them on some others.
They're not Elixirs, as you could tell by any fraying where you pick. The ball ends aren't colored, so they're not D'Addario's. As far as the color of the strings, they appear to be a slightly deeper grey than my other guitars, which all have D'Addario's (except for my strat, which I strung with EB's, which I hate, and will be replacing soon).
Any other way I can identify these?
Bob, you've played this, any ideas?
I suppose I could take these to work and have some chemical analysis done, but I'd rather keep my job
