got this in last week actually. i turned my Ibby 7620 into this Agile Intrepid and $250 .
first thing i gotta say is Agile's quality keeps getting better and better. i can't find a single flaw in this thing. while the stock Cepheus Alpha pickup sounds quite good, i'm not completely sold on them so i ordered a BKP Warpig 8 for it .
i just set it up and strung it with Elixir .10 - .56 and a GHS .70 tuned EADGCFAD (my standard 7 string tuning just with a low(er) E). now i just have to figure out what the hell i'm gonna do with an eighth string . so far the only thing i've managed to accomplish with it is add a few more notes to some of my 7 string sweep patterns.
i don't see myself wanting to add a higher string, as notes in that high of a register don't really appeal to me. at the same time, A is more than low enough for me on my 7 strings, and E is a little ridiculous at the moment. so, yeah, i'll be experimenting for a little while with this .
You know Elixir makes a .68, right?
