    NGD: PRS CE24

Some of you may remember that my sister sent me a PRS as a surprise gift recently. Unfortunately, It was an alder-bodied CE24 with a standard neck profile. I much prefer mahogany and a wide-thin neck. Luckily, the one she gave me, although used and dinged, was an '89---pre-CNC and with the rare Chainsaw bridge pickup. (Just to give you an idea, someone offered me $600 just for the pickup!)

So even though it had been through the meat grinder and was really worn, I was able to trade it for the mahogany CE24 I wanted:

I've since put the original pickup rings on and have a few more parts on order. I'll put up more pics once I'm all done. For now I'm just enjoying playing it!

Wait so you traded a pre-CNC with a Chainsaw bridge pup for that was a gift from a family member for a normal CE24?

No, the one he traded for was a Pre-CNC with the Chainsaw.
