So, I strolled into a music store today... and what did I leave with?

Default So, I strolled into a music store today... and what did I leave with?

Could it be....

A new guitar?

I think so....

Hooray for impulse spending of hundreds of dollars. The only gripe I have about this guitar is that it does not have a maple neck. That would have been the sex.

am standard or am special? the standards have 2 point trems. how much did you pay, if you dont mind me asking.

The new American specials have 6 points, and hss models are rosewood only and sss models are maple only.

D'oh..

Dumbass attack. I was looking heavily at a used american strat vs a new mexi. It's the mexi. Disregard my other post. I'm still kind of in that new guitar excitement phase and not really thinking much about the details.

The other guitar I was debating on was a used american standard, with a red finish. Ended up going with the cheaper one because this one looked oh-so-sexy.

That's awesome. I agree, the only thing that would make it even nicer would be the maple neck
