Sending a guitar overseas.. in a Gig bag?!

Did anyone here recieve or send a guitar on a plane overseas in a gig bag?
    Did it come undamaged?

I just found out that the guy who sold me the framus sent it in a warwick deluxe gig bag.

He's having a store and a perfect feedback on ebay, he stated before shipping to me that he shipped to various countries in the world including australia and the US(he's german).

Should I calm myself down from the fear of getting a smashed up guitar?
    Am I exaggerating here?

Yes you're exaggerating. If it's properly boxed it should be fine.

Not any better or worse than in country shipments.

Think about it. If the outside box is intact what difference would it make?

Dude it's must be boxed, relax. I got a 7420 from usa one time that was wrapped around with an old rags and taped around and it was fine even without a box. But that seller got a gray from me.
    Sorry for my English

I received a guitar in a gigbag WITHOUT a box It was wrapped in like 10cm of bubble wrap. No damage besides the already present on the guitar (bought it used).

So you shouldn't have to worry
