I played one at NAMM a few years back, it was lightweight and played very well but tonally I was not blown away at all. It sounded a bit sterile to my ears and I had played a few other guitars through the same amps while I was there (FWIW I was playing them through a few Brunetti amps, which sounded fantastic with the other guitars they had at the Brunetti booth so I know it wasn't the amp
) so that's what I'm basing my thoughts on. Looks really cool, very neat design and if you ONLY care about it being lightweight and very playable it might be for you, but I didn't care for how it sounded much at all and for the price those things sell for I would be absolutely gutted if I had paid that much and got a ho-hum sounding guitar out of the deal.
In fact I just looked it up on youtube as I thought there was video of the guitar when we were checking it out, this was the exact one I played (not me playing in the video, but that IS me behind the dude playing, I'm in the Vans sweatshirt funny enough!
). The quality isn't great on the recording as I think the dude was using a cell maybe but even so, it didn't blow us away in person at all either.
