    Fender Factory Tour 1959

I could watch this stuff all day.

Amazing to see how relaxed it seemed back then. And how they were spraying guitars with little ventilation and no respirators.

These days management would be freaking out about all the inventory laying around and the wasted movement of people and materials between workstations. I'd love to find a current manufacturer like this and apply my "lean manufacturing" knowledge. You'd be a hero for saving buckets of money.

Couldn't help but chuckle at the shirtless dude doing the final testing. You can see the fan blowing on him so I can just imagine the original purchaser thinking they've got this pristine new axe...with some unknown dude's sweat oozing from the trem cover and pickguard.
We're all musicians, still searching for our roots.

Doesn't say anything more than, "Music by Russell "Daemonzed" Eldridge. Russell's Stratocaster guitar is from the American Deluxe Series made at the Corona Plant (Fender), USA in the Year 2000."
