    NGD #2

Say hello to Tony, my newest acquisition

Box from UPS makes friends with my kitchen counter. Treat her right and some day box you might be able to make an honest counter out of her.

My knife didn't feel the same way and decided instead to cut Boxy down to size, exposing his innards for us all to see. How disgusting!

Something is packed in this box's gut? What is it? FUCKING PACKING PEANUTS RAH FUCK YOU.

We have a beautiful baby case too!

Here is the case, gettin' it's ZZ Top on.

What ELSE was in the case besides copious amounts of white fuzz? Why a guitar silly billy.

Bit of an oddball guitar as I've never seen a black SG that wasn't gloss, but this one you can feel the wood grain, and the neck is thicker than the 60's Slim Taper profile like my Firebrand Deluxe had. All in all it's still a rocking guitar and I'll be putting some D'addario Light Top/Heavy Bottoms on him tomorrow then rock the fuck out.

I really like SG's but I never got on with the volume knob placement. Sweet NGD!

Restrung it with the Medium Top/Heavy Bottoms and it plays like I remember Neck's a bit thicker, but it's still perfectly fine; gave the board some cleaner and conditioner, then wiped the frets down so now the rosewood is a nice healthy, dark shade like it should be.
