Yes, it really is that good.
I really didn't want to like this one. But, the thing played effortlessly, balanced well, and man, I don't know if it was the guitar itself or the Bareknuckles (which I ALSO didn't want to like, given all the hype they get), but the thing sounded phenominal. Not only did it sound super-articulate under even rediculous amounts of gain, but it sounded shockingly, well, full, under pretty low gain amp settings. That was the thing that floored me the most - it almost didn't matter where the amp's gain knob was set, the tone was very full, with even sustain, plenty of harmonic "burn" and overtones, and just su "substantial" sounding. All the more remarkable in that it was relatively bright. And again, it played effortlessly. I couldn't put it down.
What the fuck were the pickups, again? If they sound as good as they do in a non 25" mahogany guitar, I want a set.
