well they do need to adjust action and intonation too so my guess is no.

I'm getting ready to head out to GC, what tube amps that are good for bedroom use that give a fairly good modern metal distortion? I remember seeing an Egnator Rebel 20w and 30w, assorted Orange amps, some mesa boogies, etc.

20-30 watts is way too loud for bedroom usage, IMO. Haven't you tried the Blackstar HT-5 at some point?

yes I have, but that was a good bit ago so could be newer amps out and taste in desired tone changes too.

Still worth asking but IMO, I don't think anything comes close to the HT-5 in terms of performance vs price in terms of tube amps and really, nothing new has come out in that range. The HT-1 might be interesting for you. Otherwise, there is always the modeler route (Pod HD-500). Also, check the Jet City amps, wich get great reviews.

Those 600$ Prestige RG's were pretty awesome. Especially for that money, you can't go wrong with that imo.

The fretboard on the one I played was a little or so dry. But otherwise I thought it played great.

If anyone has any prayer requests, need to talk, or questions about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Feel free to message me.

God Bless, Venator

For used guitars yes, new guitars not really unless they've been in a shop for a long time.

I wouldn't get a tube amp if I were going to be playing in a bedroom .

And yes, I tried the HT-5
