Yep I've been following that one for a bit, not going for it though, its had an interesting history that makes me very cautious of going for it.
-A couple months ago (maybe 3?) coloradoman on JCAF sold it on Ebay for $1200. We were all surprised that an AT went for that much.
-The same one got sold by someone on the Seymour Duncan Forum (who I assume bought it from coloradoman) for $900.
-Now a guy on rig talk (same guy as the ebay listing you linked) is trying to sell it for $850.
Something fishy is going on with this one if its changed hands that much in such a short period of time, decreasing price each time. Could it just be that a bunch of online cork sniffers couldn't deal with the fact that it wasn't a Les Paul Custom with Gibson on the headstock? Maybe. But theres also a probably that there is some issue that no one is disclosing (maybe just a total tonal dog?) that is causing it to change hands so many times. I'm not spending $800 to find out!
I didn't buy it from coloradoman when he first had it listed on JCAF cause he gave the most "I really didn't give a fuck" description about the guitar ever. "Its been hanging on my wall for the past four years" I know the vast majority of Jacksons probably haven't been pampered for 20 years, and have probably spent a huge amount of time neglected under a bed, but I'm not going to buy a guitar that someone admits to leaving in less than optimal conditions for a huge period of time!
