alright, my wife gave me the green light on building myself a warmoth. before i do it though, i wanted to get some opinions on the wood types to use, as i'm sure you all will have some better advice than i can give myself.
what i'm really looking for is a mid-output guitar for a non metal application. I'd eventually like the pickups to be a paf, or something along those lines. something i can use for some blues, rock, and lighter rock things.
i went through the builder and decided that i want a black korina top, because, well, they are fricking gorgeous. the main body wood is what i need suggestions on. mahogany? ash? will either of those clash with the black korina top? will that even make a noticeable difference; i've never played one with a more exotic top like that.
