Very nice! Very classy looking.

I didn't realize Schecter made a guitar with the abalone along the fretboard edge - I thought that was only ESP/LTD.

Anyways, enjoy it! Looks great!

Think these covers would be too much?

Yeah, those will clash with the binding.

Personally, I'm totally infatuated with my P-Rails, so I'd say get a pair of those, but they don't come covered.

What kind of pickup do you want in there? Hot? Mild? Middy? Clear?

So far it's very thick sounding, thinking something on the bright side with clarity. Something like an evolution and an air norton or Liquifire. Though I've been wondering about the BKP Vintage Hot pickups.

I think they should sell covers as well as their pickups

An Evo and AN, I think, would get buried by the mahogany, and is the last thing you'll want if you want clarity

Also, if you're considering dropping big money on BKP, you can also include some American custom pickup companies, like Wolfetone Pickups and Vintage Vibe Guitars: Pickups

When I had my Epiphone LP7, which was a big thick hunk of dense, muddy, cheap mahogany, an EVO was perfect. It cleared everything up really nicely.
