sure there have been plenty of soloists with reverse headstocks on them , they are all custom shop orders though, no production model has it.
I don't need no stinking tubes

I'm sure there have been many. I can't think of a production guitar off the top of my head, but I've seen plenty of non-production guitars, though...

Non Stars Production? No.
80s Pre Production Era? - As far as options go it exists, but is fairly uncommon. Modern CS Era? - Certainly, gets more and more common approaching present. Quite a few dealer runs have been done with it. Japanese Market? ("Stars", "Grover Jackson") - Dunno, I don't really make it my business to know anything about these models |

Here's an interesting one that caused a bit of heated debate on some Jackson sites lately.
![]() (taken from Engage's FS thread http://i652.photobucket.com/albums/u...2/DSC_0763.jpg) Kelly with a reverse HS (and a non production finish) but a U serial number (production serial number). Kind of a murky area between CS and production. Dealer order from Drum City if memory serves. edit: Also worthwhile to note that Jackson is known for doing funky things with serial numbers! ![]() As I mentioned before you can definitely find Dealer runs with Reverse HS as an option, and depending on how much you have to spend these will likely be cheaper (used or new) than a full blown CS. The "Hulk" run is just one (10 piece I believe?) run in recent history that had a reverse headstock. |

If you knock off the OFR requirement the Matt Tuck Rhoads are Reverse Headstock, and like all higher end ebony board Japanese Jacksons, many of those are very nice guitars.

No. Matt Tuck Rhoads is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. I've played examples of those that are very nice guitars though. So if you can take the Rhoads shape it's something to consider.
If you consider bolt ons you widen the field immensely. Though most Jackson RH models aren't really worth owning IMO. If you can stomache basswood the early JT-590 equipped DRs are a good choice (variety of finishes, maple or rosewood fretboards) that are very high quality. The COW is also, of course, reverse headstock. But opinions are quite mixed in the Jackson community as to whether its really a model worth owning, many find it lackluster. |

The Matt Tuck sig is not being made anymore and he has gone over to BCR.
