Floyds I can do. Truss rods on brand new $1500 guitars, not so much.

MAN UP AND GRAB THAT ALLEN WRENCH

Just make very small truss rod adjustments and let it sit/settle for a bit before deciding if it needs more or less relief. Most guitars (even shitty ones) don't need a ton of adjustment.

Chris, I used to not trust myself to adjust the truss either... but now I'll make a 1/4 turn, and let it sit overnight and check it the next day

you were adjusting it with no tension on the neck right? makes it a shitload easier
