    just looking at the guitar, it didn't seem like that big of a POS..

    however.. There just ain no excuse for a Carvin pickup on anything....

    gawd those things SUCK.

    (and its sad too, cause I really liked my Ultra V once i changed the pups out)

    The sole purpose of Carvin pickups is to make stock Ibanez pickups sound good.

    The ones that I tore out of my singlecut weren't nearly as bad as the ones that were in my 727 though. Holy fuck were they horrendous.
