As in strings, action, relief, etc.
Always interested to hear what other people like.
Action (at 12th fret, playing position, measured between fret and string): 1.38 mm (~.054" or a Jazz III), a little under if the fretwork is very nice and buzzless and I can get away with it.
Relief (fretting 1st and 24th fret, playing position, measured at 12th fret between fret and string): About halfway between a credit card and nothing. I've got a feeler guage, but I never bother.
Running D'addario EXL 116 on my 24.75 guitars (52-11) tuned DGCFAD. D'addario EXL 110+ (48-10.5) on my 25.5 guitars tuned DGCFAD. And D'addario EXL 116 (same as above) on my 25.5 guitars tuned C#F#BEG#C#
All guitars are Jacksons compound radius boards and their formulation for Jumbo frets (not sure if this is identical to the modern formulation).
Waaaay more advanced than I take it. I just get the action as low as possible and the neck as straight as possible and then lift the strings until I don't hear buzzing when I play anywhere on the neck.
